If there wasn’t a lot of work and my employees ask to stay home unpaid I’d give them a beer and tell them to be my guest as well

Joking aside, as they are unpaid, I am sure your boss doesn’t mind. Very nice though that he allows it. I hope the rest of your job is also this good…

The thing with this is that a lot of employees abuse this kind of mindset with a boss and ruin it for everybody. Good to see the work environment is nice at your job
