How many in hospital, and how many deaths in Scotland? Why don’t these articles post this? That is critical information.
Lockdown is dressed up as protecting the NHS, if there’s small amounts of hospitalisation then why would we need to lock down? A variant that presents as a bad cold is NOT a justifiable reason to shut down society. A case is completely meaningless, it could be asymptomatic or incredibly mild, so seeing a positive case increase means fuck all.
If this is how we react to the mildest variant we’ve ever seen, then I’m afraid this will literally never end. Some of you need to realise that. South Africa was the epicenter of Omicron, have any of you looked at it? Cases have already plateaued and there’s no reported mass hospitalisation or death (and that’s a nation with a low % of vaccinated)
This will never end. God help us. Probably better to just put your life savings into shares of a pharmaceutical company at this point
I thought most major events in Scotland required a vaccine passport… Is this an admission that they are not terribly useful?
If this is really an emergency then it should apply to Christmas too. Otherwise it’s lipstick on a pig.
You just know Sturgeon was creaming her knickers with excitement when announcing this. She never really wanted to end restrictions so now she’s in her element bringing them back.
