Hey everyone,

Thought it would be ho harm posting this here, I was cleaning out my Nan and Grandads garage on the weekend and my Grandad was one to keep anything he found interesting/historical. He used to work in Millers back in the day.

I came across this book, from 1927, full of old whiskey/sherry/wine bottle labels, I feel they are mock-ups to get design sign off for the final printed versions.

It’s from the “Book-binding & Stationary Department” and the company that printed the labels was Cherry & Smalldridge LTD, the book is dated 12-02-1927 by the looks of it!

I’ve never really seen anything like this and want to do some research on it if anyone can give me any tips or sites to search or even knows anything about the company that would be sweet, my grandad was a gentlemen and I would love to get more information on what he obviously thought was worth keeping, I’m also in the field of art/design so this also tickles the designer in me,

Thanks in advance!
