I agree with everything apart from the church bells, which are so f***ing unnecessary and annoying.
Looks more like a PR campaign to me. I doubt they had a serious issue of tourist expectations.

I think it makes perfect sense to respect the way of living at these places, and just try to accomodate. At the end, we are being guests on their villages.
It’s becoming quite unfortunate the amount of complains from people visiting rural areas and being unconfortable about animal or agricultural machinery noises.
I bet those tourists are either americans or british.
