Thicker than Crepes, and the fillings are usually Jam for the sweet version or cheese and Ham for the salty version (folded twice) I could eat them every day!
One of my favourite childhood meals. Nothing beats a strawberry or Powidl palačinka!

Fun fact: The Austrian term palatschinke(n) is borrowed from Czech palačinka, that in turn from Hungarian palacsinta, which is either loaned from Romanian plăcintă or Italian. The root word is the Latin placenta from Greek plakous meaning “thin or layered flat breads”. I think palačinky perfectly illustrate the goulash of Central European culture.
