1. Russia starving it’s few remaining allies, Russia attacking a Turkish ship, and Russia attacking Ukraine are all really bad ideas. Putin hasn’t made a single smart decision in almost a decade.

2. Erdogan is a populist. Even if Russia sinks 3 of his ships he will pretend that nothing happened. Its because Turks much more prefer Russian money from trade and tourism. There would be literally zero reaction. Also Turks have weird fetish towards Russians (like “we were both superpowers one day” vibe)

   On contrary, if Greece would do that, we would end up on a brink of Turks vs. Greece full war, since Greeks do not invest much in Turkey, and Turkish population does not like Greeks much.

3. so is that low key means that Turkey will protect these ships?

4. Let’s see how much meat these Russian threats really have in them. I’m looking forward to see the international reaction when a foreign civilian ship is sunk by Russian warships. This might trigger a harsh response by NATO members. Not sure the Kremlin wants to try going there, they might say the agreement is dead, but then simply ignore ships passing through like the fragile little fascist cunts they all are.

   I’ve only encountered articles like “he said she said” and that included Al Jazeera. Googling “grain deal turkey” also returns pretty much nothing
