This would be the same May when I used to see coppers in the park, moving on people who sat on benches to enjoy the weather, the same May I saw a young couple having a picnic around 50 yards away from the nearest person get told to pack up and leave by a group of coppers.

Regarding the work angle, that doesn’t wash with me. We were working throughout the pandemic (on Covid related projects) but were not allowed any group social activities in the workplace. Spaced 2 metres or more apart in the canteen at lunchtime, or eating at our desks, also 2 metres apart. Booking system to get into the lab. Nothing whatsoever on the social front after hours either. Site Christmas parties cancelled last year and this year. It’s horseshit, this ‘working hard’ excuse – so many of us were.
This would be the May I was moved on from the beach I live across the road from. My only chance at going outside because I have no garden. I was sitting by the seafront crying, as I’d not had face to face contact with anyone for several months, and a copper told me off and made me go home. I fucking hate Johnson and the Tories.
What frustrating is that this was around the time idiots in facebook were circling the picture of Boris sat on a bench all teary eyed with the tagline “HeS DOiNg hIS BeST” this blatantly proves he wasnt.

From the angle, height and location of the shot it would be easy to narrow down who took that photo, someone in the civil service took a huge risk leaking that shot.
