  1. Tax cuts for the higher rate payers only please

Sure inflation doesn’t affect those on lower salaries

    Self serving wankers

  2. His face is red because he’s so embarrassed at the amount of underhanded shit we do on the tax side to get these corporation tax returns.

  3. Can we have some functioning services now please?

  4. Great. Build some power and water infrastructure, maybe a train or two, and quit fucking around.

  5. Roads, Public Transport, more roads, Rail like right dafuq now rail, housing near areas where industries can setup and not put it all in Dublin 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Edit: oh and cycle lanes everywhere!

  6. Its estimated that a sq metre costs 2350 to build.
With quick maths, an average 3 bed semiD is around 90m²
So the cost price to build is 211k.

The other big cost for building is land. This is a non issue since the government have plenty of land in its ownership just sitting there.
That 2bn could be used to build 9478 3 bed family homes.

In sure the cost to government could be reduced(buying in bulk etc.)

We currently, as of May 2023, 12,441 people in emergency services for housing.

So with 1 single decision, we could home most if not all homeless.

Now onviously its a lot more complicated than that, and you got to consider other areas in need(young people renting, people in low come households etc).

But if this money is not mostly used for housing/public services, then the government needs to be shot.

Whilst you can argue this is a once off, and you cant increase spending in healthcare for example, building a house is a once off transaction. They could sell some of the houses and make profit to those who can afford a home, and keep some for social housing/htb etc.

  7. Not worth a shite the way they’re running things.
