Trident Defense Initiative is glad to announce the start of its new specialized course for fpv-operators!

In the course of the next 2 weeks a team of future FPV (first-point view) pilots and instructors are going through intensive training on simulators, pass several tests to begin practicing with smaller fpv-drones and, having fulfilled program requirements, begin training on larger drones that they will use at the frontline. We are happy to cooperate with our partners from Military Kitchen and Victory Drones on implementing this course – the first FPV-school in Kharkiv region!

Our two-week Basic Infantry course started yesterday for over 60 students practicing patrols, weapon handling, reaction to contact, TCCC and CQB and other topics. We have over 30 students for 2 Combat Lifesavers courses running concurrently and a dozen of students on our Mine Detection course. Over 40 students from several different units also started our Basic Drone Operator course together with Dovzhyk school and Victory Drones.

  1. No joke, I thought they were playing minecraft at first. But this is amazing good job

  2. Multiple FPVs depending on the expected amount of enemies should accompany every trench assault just scanning for enemies as the assault force is moving in. If an enemy is found an FPV should go in and take it out. It should then be replaced by another and so on. Both groups should work very closely and have direct communications. Even better, prior to the assault 10 – 20 FPVs should monitor the trench and bomb it continually like how the US bombs an area prior to moving in troops. Most of the heavy lifting should be done by the drones replacing aircraft bombing since they do not have air superiority.
