it doesn’t bother me too much but it sounds SO wrong.
Czyli nie mowisz “chipsy” albo “simsy”? 😀
I have adjusted to say Pierogi even when plural since it bugs Polish people but to be fair, this is in English and many things are changed when spoken in another language that don’t conform to the origin. According to Oxford and other English/American English dictionaries (I checked multiple). “noun: pierogi; plural noun: pierogies”
I am more concerned about baked potato as stuffing tbh.
Btw: what does it mean made in batches? Aren’t they always?
We do the same with “czipsy”. There is one chip, many chips. So we should say chips or chipy. Eventually more polonized version czipy. Or even more – cipy.
