How about shortening it to zero and putting a prop up there instead while still using a live goat (treated correctly) on the ground as King Puc?
I don’t see how it makes any difference whatsoever to anyone as to whether there is a live animal up there. Nobody would take offence to having a prop instead. Times have moved on.
Do an ABBA and have a projected hologram of a goat doing goat things up there.
I vote we name this holo-goat “Goatsune Miku”
I never once heard the Goat complaining about being King – if he has a problem with it he should just abdicate

Let’s be fair, Puck is really only an excuse for people to get absolutely legless drunk for a weekend and buy tools out the back of a van that may or may not have have fallen off of a lorry. Nobody could give a fuck if there’s a goat up on the stand.
