Electric and hybrids are far heavier than normal cars because of the weight of the batteries.
They literally have zero understanding of how reliant this country is on cars.
How about introducing a tax on electric bicycles and e scooters to fund cycle infrastructure?

far too many SUVS around these days. tax them to fack. should only be exempt if you are working in construction or farming etc. show your safety pass or green cert then bang youre free of the tax.
