What a blessing, I feel for those in southern Europe contending with extreme temperatures and water shortages
Just here to see how long it takes before the “what about global warming lol” comments arrive.
Not sure I 100% trust LBC but in fairness they are citing the Met Office, albiet editorialising what they said. The Met Office guy says *this weekend* is likely to be wet but it will likely get warmer and drier through August. Not exactly a “washout summer” if that does happen. I’ve got a few festivals in August, so I bloody hope it isn’t wet and cold.
In the meantime, Ibiza and dianabol it is I suppose….
Being raining here without pause since June anyway.
Good. It’s nice being able to sleep at night instead of the sweltering heat stripping away your willpower layer by layer until you’re in bed and nothing more than a flaky, overcooked Greggs sausage roll
It’s good we’re not meant for extreme heat.. but some contiguous dry days would be nice to allow some combining. Yields already looking a bit rubbish owing spring weather, nice to at least get it in.
