  1. I got a positive result yesterday. I went on the HSE website at 12 last night and it was nearly impossible to get my husband a test. He’s getting one tomorrow. My daughter needs to be tested too. There are definitely a lot more cases out there than being reported

  2. Mate had their wedding cancelled, another lad is about to be a dad, he’s tested positive so will not be there to see his first born enter the world, local priest also in isolation, load of work colleagues are having a very isolated Christmas. Sucks, cause many had plans to see family they havent seen in a long time. Couple of lads testive positive and are stuck in apartments by themselves for the holidays. Thinking of a group zoom n beer call on Christmas evening with them.

I genuinely have not known so many to be infected at the one time. This variant seems to be everywhere. Stay safe out there folks and hope ye cunts have a very merry Christmas. We all deserve some holiday cheer!

  3. So, that is basically 1 out of every 500 people in Ireland testing positive yesterday? Makes you think about packing in anywhere there are other people!

  4. On the lighter note, hospitalisations and ICU numbers are going dowm, slowly becoming less effective and can be treated at home. Shite right now but we are on a way better road to victory than before, we got this

  5. Haven’t been able to get a test had a scratchy sore throat. No cough or anything just that did like 5 antigen tests but all negitive then my brother did two but positive. Still can’t get a a test so anyway locking in for Christmas.

  6. I know a lot of people this time around that have it. This variant is ridiculously contagious. I bought a job lot of EU approved antigen tests from lidl… Bargain at €2.49 each. Been doing them daily before I go home to the parents as I know so many positive cases recently
