  1. Turkish and Israeli civilian companies with some Greek participation basically own the entire black sea trade basin if the Russians have gone crazy and they start shooting at civilian ships they will discover very fast

That they are not the only people capable of harsh reactions

When the Iranians started trying to play that game they started losing ships in the middle of the ocean for “unclear reasons” and military officers as well.

Don’t try this at home we can be very nasty in retaliation for idiocy.

  2. *non-credible mode on*

Have Turkish warships escort them in international waters and dare the Russians to fire on them

  3. So bussiness as usual for Russians. Shooting at everything.

Hopefully they can get from Danube delta down to Turkey via Romanian and Bulgarian territiorial waters. Good luck with shooting at the ships in NATO territorial waters.

  4. I think the earlier idea of a coalition of Western ships escorting grain shipments would work and be relatively low risk. 10 US Destroyers and 10 European Destroyers/Frigates on rotation, maybe with a couple helicopter carriers, just shuttling and hustling convoys of Ukrainian ships out of the Black Sea. Russia isn’t messing with that.

Edit: Although what I’ve read is that Russia’s primary plan to disrupt shipments would be to destroy Ukrainian port facilities, rather than attacking the actual shipping.

  5. So I wonder who is going to keep defending this KGB thug bastard now /s.

  6. Attacking NATO or Israeli ships… give it a shot Russia…
