Jesus fucking christ that makes me sick to my stomach. Hope that poor man will be OK.
Even if there’s CCTV they might never identify anyone, just a gang of youth with hoods. And if they did identify them, sure it would probably be only a slap on the wrist, or be diverted into the Garda Youth programme, which is even less than a slap on the wrist. Animals.
Jesus, ah but sure they’re only kids etc.
This is just terrible… I pray the man will pull through with minimal injury. When I hear the victim is a tourist it does make me feel even worse.
I have no hope justice will be given to the perpetrators but I pray otherwise
Literally outside one of the biggest Garda stations in the city.
This is why when people tell me they’re going to visit Ireland I tell them not to go to Dublin.
Fucking sickening. This is literally beside a Garda station. These little cunts have no fear because there’s no consequences. It’s becoming a massive problem for the city and is only going to get worse.
Tragic, but not at all surprising. I work in that area and it’s completely lawless. Open drug use, drug dealing and other generally illegal stuff. I have NEVER seen a Garda patrol on Talbot Street and I’ve been in the area for over 5 years. The only time they leave the station is to pop across to SuperValu for a deli sandwich.
