Just Stop Pissing People Off is a bit of a mouthful, I’d go with Just Fuck Off
but glad to see these clowns getting humiliated and told what everyone thinks of them.

Fucking eco-warriors, don’t you realise it’s already too late? The only way to stop the climate from fucking up the population in a few years is to literally turn off all the factories of the world and even then, it may be too late to save those most at risk

Because I’m genuinely considering donating as I support their efforts.
Shame they didn’t protest before the world is irreversible screwed. There is no point in stopping oil anymore. The damage is done. Best option now is not have anymore children and hope for the best.
I’m sure turning climate change into yet another culture war issue won’t come back to haunt us in 20-50 years.
Seeing the constant arguments about this is so funny and frustrating.
Every protest throughout history has done this. You may think that for protests throughout history there was a groundswell of public opinion behind every single one of them. People at the time HATED them. Or were at best agnostic about them. Only in time were the protests proven right, and historical narrative has papered over the dissent that happened at the time.
People mentioned the civil rights protests. Those protestors were set upon by mobs in many instances. And criticised by many more, saying how disruptive they were and how it meant they would not get support.
This has happened, constantly, throughout history. If you support the right to protest, you need to deal with the consequences of that. People will get disrupted and annoyed. You cannot realistically ask protestors to go and protest quietly in a corner and get any meaningful change. And you saying “go and protest against the rich and powerful” (a) assumes they haven’t been lobbying them for years with no success, and (b) says that you don’t want to deal with the consequences of protest.
Sorry, but this is the deal. You support protests, expect disruption.
I’m sorry but why should regular people trying to go about their day and make a living have to deal with these people? It’s not going to make anyone give a shit, people WILL not care about the message these idiots are trying to tell. Pissing off regular people will not make them listen and care.
I don’t drive so doesn’t affect me, but I’m sure people who have things to do don’t need this crap.

Those counter protesters don’t look a right fit for the type of counter protest they are engaged in. I would have expected them to be more ‘footbally’ if you know what I mean, not a uniformly diverse group of youngish people.
Protests do have to be disruptive to work so they’re following the rules.
Good on them for taking time out of their hectic schedule of school runs, emergency hospital visits and urgent fridge deliveries to spend time standing next to some people they don’t like.

What did you do during the climate crisis daddy? Well son, I protested against the people trying their best to save our planet because they made me late for work once.
Interesting syntax in the headline. I couldn’t work out whether this was staged or not, but the older woman JSO protestor (with the ponytail and parting) did talk quite a lot of sense.
Having a different agenda is good. Nature is primarily concerned with nurturing uniqueness and individuality in a system over the past 3.8 billion years. Human culture is obsessed with creating single moulds into which everyone must conform. This is grotesque and counter-evolutionary.
It’s important to understand that few if any of us is going to see any destruction of this planet or some apocalyptic event. It’s also the case that the vast majority of us aren’t going to die naturally or peacefully. Most of us are going to die prematurely and some of us are going to die in ways which are unnecessary and preventable, but see resources and “Where is the money going to come from?”
Let’s not overlook the fact that we’re all collectively working for some global economic system which favours just nine developed countries and maybe a few dozen families who are incredibly powerful and financially wealthy – beyond that what many of us can imagine. These people are going to be safe and secure no matter what happens in the future. They’re also inaccessible to protestors such as JSO and XR.
Please keep in mind that your life, just like your death, is insignificant. It’s just a statistic, a number added to a database or a spreadsheet. This global economic system, which many people are taking so seriously, has no significance or relevance in terms of this planet. The only significance of our economic system is who can make money off you and how they can make money off you.
At every stage of your life you are being cheated out of your natural humanity and natural birthright.
If you cannot see how this is the real issue here, then that’s on you.
I cant wait for people in 40 years to tell their to kids they were always on the side of the Protestors but the government just didn’t listen.
