I don’t know if it is just me. But I find that some EU countries still having monarchs that are financed by public money in this day and age is kind of insane
Congratulations to Queen Margrethe II for becoming the longest reigning monarch in Danish history! It’s amazing to think that she has held the throne for over 51 years and 179 days. It’s a testament to her dedication and leadership, and I’m sure the people of Denmark are proud to have her as their ruler.
Well done on being born to the right people I guess?
She’s always seemed pretty cool and artistic. Speaks excellent English too, sounds almost entirely – if not entirely – like a posh native speaker.
