I would assume 95% of people don’t actually understand how a plane actually flies but they still trust technology and engineering that it will fly. They still basically sit in a long, dozens of tons heavy metal tube with wings moving at 800km/h+ speeds through the air. The same people will happily rant about having to be vaccinated to take that plane for their holiday destination, because you know – BuT yOu Don’T kNoW whAT’s In tHe VaCCinE !!

I mean just look at the possible side effects of birth control pills. Compare them to COVID vaccines⌠Yet birth control pills are taken without hesitation.
Canât wait for the vaccine to be mandatory. Then all the anti-vaxxers will move away in droves to protect their health from what they perceive as a deadly threat, right? I mean, thereâs no way theyâd just go get the shot; that would expose all their whining and bleating and foot-dragging as nothing more than a cry for attention, a wholly unnecessary delay that cost untold people their health and, in some cases, their lives.

To be honest, if we still had large scale testing and vaccine we sure Would be in a better situation.
And yes I know the suppression of lst is used to force people to vaccinate. And I get it.
But it could be better.

How if a rule is brought in that anyone not vaxed will have to pay from pocket or be denied hospital bed if infected by Covid.

I did all kinds of things the last 2 years, including hugging people (omg) and I’m completely fine. Covid is just one risk in life more. Nothing else. There were also a lot of deadly risks in your life before covid and you didn’t care.
Oh and I’m also not vaccinated and I don’t intend to do it, but no worries I won’t clutter a hospital bed if I get seriously ill. I would rather die at home with my family around me instead of going to a hospital right now, get filled with even more drugs and then die alone.

What should be done is to forbid covid discussions , other than new measures, from this thread. Its just making people angry and anxious.
I’m not anti-vax but it’s annoying how much the discourse around the vaccine now dominates this sub.
None of them will read any of these posts and change their mind
Thatâs nice and all but Iâm still sitting in a lockdown, can not meet friends and family, still have to test all the time, still have to wear mask all the time despite the vaccines so thanks for nothing đ literally all points of this trash post are negated.
