There are over 4.6 million private renters in the UK. Guess who they won’t be voting for?
I have a friend in London who was forced to pay a years rent up front in order to get a flat to share with 2 other people. They had to use an inheritance. They aren’t wealthy and its a very ordinary flat in a cheap area. The power imbalance at play in the rental market is insane at the moment, and the demands being requested by landlords are ridiculous.
Supply meet demand, drop the population as it gets reversed.
