  1. So why are they exempt from technology? I mean there are no more rooms full of scribes with ink quills either.
    Did they fail to notice CGI before? How much more of my money do they want?

  2. There are a few things they are protesting. The use AI, residual payments, more work for less pay, shorter seasons on streaming (less residuals and less actual pay). Can’t say I want to see a series like for all mankind dragged out to 20 episodes tbh.

    The lower paid actors get absolute shit pay, but the top “talent” can’t exactly scream inequality. You have regular support actors having side gigs to live while the star is raking in 400k an episode.

    When the credits role, they should show the wages, guilt the low pay up a little.

  3. Sounds like good news, the ‘progressives’ like Cox and Pegg are always demanding we move to reduce inequality. Reducing the absurd pay of Hollywood ‘stars’ is surely a step in the right direction and something to rejoice at.
