4. Regardless of where your allegiances lay, this is sad as fuck. That was someone’s kid. They spent a lifetime growing up and have a lifetime of memories and relationships. Yes they may have been brainwashed into thinking that invading a country is the right thing to do but is that their fault? They may have also been forced to war after ending up in prison after being forced into a life of crime due to poverty. They probably ended up there through promises that were never going to be fulfilled no matter the outcome of their service.
