Insert your school’s highest possible grade, lowest possible passing grade, and your grade. It will give you a rough idea, although not every university uses this formula.
For instance, if the maximum grade is 100 and the lowest passing grade is a 60, an 83 would be a 2,2. An 84 would also be a 2,2.
Edit: Note that for German grades, lower is better. So if the requirement is a 2,0 or better, that means you need something 2,0 or lower.
