This is the understatement of the century, literally! Moscow’s Isengard and Beijing’s Mordor are a match made in hell, literally.
What I find frustrating about that article is that it is mostly vague general points with out any clarity. I am fairly anti-CCP and the actions they take. If your not going to give details then why bother? I get in intelligence work you need to have a reason that as to how you learned it that won’t compromise sources but it usually is possible to back track information once you know what you are looking for. Anyone that pays the slightest attention to the actions of the UN knows China has been running cover for the russians. That is not new.
The prevailing opinion is that China is observing the worlds reaction to the invasion of Ukraine as a dry run for annexing the country of Taiwan. The real question is when Putin falls will russia be weak enough to tempt China to go for the russian oil fields as an answer to their energy needs. And will it be military annexation or economic strangulation.
