No wonder Edinburgh was dubbed ‘Athens of the North’. While scrolling past I thought this was a view of the gallery on the Mound, with the castle in the background.

Greece is just too much. I can’t understand how folks can live in a place like Athens and not be overwhelmed every moment of every day.
Is there a better resolution of the photograph? I would love to use it as a wallpaper.

This temple I think it is actually the Hephasteion, and it’s near the Acropolis (by the Agora), not on the Acropolis (in the background).
