I wonder if anyone here could tell me what this coin is. I dug it out of the ground ( I work in construction and find a great deal of old stuff). It’s less than a 1mm thick. It seems to be an eagle on one side. On the other side I can make out the words “Dortmunds” and possibly “Staler”. There’s another word that I can’t really make out.
Thanks!

Looks like something like this: https://www.ma-shops.de/olding2/item.php?id=292114
It’s a 1/4 Stüber minted for the Reichsstadt Dortmund in 1752. You can see a better preserved one [here](https://www.muenzen-ritter.de/23864-dortmund-reichsstadt-14-stueber-1752-ss.html?___store=fr&___from_store=gb). In this condition it is probably worthless, but a nice keepsake!
