So my wife does a little cleaning job, just a few clients 20 hours or so.. It’s just a pass time to keep her sane and make some pocket money.
I generally did the paperwork to keep things legal, registered the business at the commune, registered with AVS, got professional RC insurance and setup some invoicing software to keep records.
Now [SUVA](https://www.suva.ch/fr-ch) has written asking for tons of details, including the names of the clients and all the past invoices plus a 3 page questionnaire.
I don’t really get where they come into the picture or why they want these details
Anybody knows?

They basically watch out if a self-employment is a way to hide a normal employment and avoid the social contributions.
Basically they need to see that your wife has multiple customers, and not just one.
Because she needs BUV/AAP/OAI and NBUV/AANP/NOAI insurance and SUVA is the default provider for such insurance: [https://www.kmu.admin.ch/kmu/en/home/concrete-know-how/personnel/personnel-management/employers-obligations/social-insurance/accident-insurance.html](https://www.kmu.admin.ch/kmu/en/home/concrete-know-how/personnel/personnel-management/employers-obligations/social-insurance/accident-insurance.html)
