It feels like summers are becoming hoter and hoter with each year. At this rate, Southern Europe will have a Saharan climate, Central Europe a tropical climate and Northern Europe a Mediterranean climate.
South Western France has been spared from heatwaves so far and our summer has been unusually mild whereas we had been the epicenter of heatwaves in France for the past three or four years. I guess it’s due to the heat dome hovering over the Mediterranean regions.
Damn. I need a shower from marely looking at Southern Europe.

While this does look pretty bad in souther europe, in the middle (Germany, Poland, etc.) It’s down to reasonable temperatures again, mostly sub 30. It was a lot worse for larger parts in the past weeks.
Why Sofia, Bulgaria is always presented with more than 10 degrees less than the actual temperature?
I can confirm, it’s hot! We are literally having a shower at our own sweat every 10 minutes without AC. Houses and restaurants have AC, bars have water cooling system while I at work have spare T shirts.
Look at that. all the nice countries have been spared from the hellsfires. For the brits its just another day of gloomy weather tho.
And thats the „Climats Changes” very nice.
Color coding is awful here, +30 always was a normal temperature in July, painting it as red just makes the map look worse than it is.

So far I’ve been enjoying summer this year. A couple of very hot days but no never ending heathwave and mostly reasonable temperatures at night .

Things are been pretty nice here in the UK. Not too hot and plenty of rain. It’s strange considering last month which was cooler than this month on average things were roasting.
Africa: At least it is not humid.
If we could just average out the temperatures between north and south, I think everyone would be pretty happy about it right now.
I am questioning the accuracy of this as yesterday it was 34 in south east France where I am right now, and that’s a temperature I remember seeing in the evening, in the shade. I highly doubt 32 was the max recorded here.
