Yes that is my awesome umbrella nearest the camera, purchased from a charity shop in Bury a couple years ago for a few quid and super reliable, it copes with wind well too unlike the Poundland ones I used to buy! I’m an interesting guy, it’s true 😀 Anyway, the make of the umbrella is Totes, and no, I don’t work for them, can recommend though ☔️
This should be summer weather, it’s true that June was good and I wore shorts often, and had the bedside fan on nightly, but at the mo it’s permanent rain, what’s it like where you are everyone ?.

I love hot, sunny weather and partly because of that I’m emigrating to Australia in a few months. This absolutely pathetic start to “summer” has definitely improved how I feel about the decision to move 😂

Defenitly feels shitter than last year, Hertfordshire here and it’s either grey and rain or grey and windy, had a couple nice weeks in June but that aside it’s been a washout

Summer this year lasted approximately 1 week mid June
School holidays started on Friday so this seems to be fairly typical. It could be worse, we could be having massive forest fires.
Rain? In Manchester? Fuck me sideways, what a novelty.
We have had a heat wave here in the Scottish borders even with the rain past 2 days its still really warm. Its been too hot for a few weeks need a break from it.
Racist comment blame Johnny Foreigner for stealing our summer just as the Daily Mail inferred earlier.(go see their horrid headline if you are brave. Apparently the wild fires in Greece are deliberately and maliciously exclusively targeting the Brits !
Now the science the so called Azores high and Atlantic conveyor (sea current) have been blocked from moving northwards as they might normally this time of year, sending the rain and wind towards the plague isles rather than Scandinavia.
To be honest it’s historically actually pretty normal temperature wise.
North West France as far as the Loire valley and Nantes in Bretagne is also similar at the moment. My daughter live near St Nazaire and its been very windy the last few days.
