  2. This is an excellent summation of many an r/Ireland user and their understanding of Irish history.

  3. It’s embarrassingly accurate . Save for a small number, most were too happy and willing to embrace and plead ignorance .
    The attitude still prevails today, even in GAA where Ulster teams are looked down upon as raging and dirty .

    The only thing I would say is, the same numbers were only to willing to remain British . It was small numbers and pockets that continuously kicked up over the centuries

  4. No. It needs to be a United Ireland right, get the Brits out and give us back our land. We want it back now, enough is enough. Get them out.
