Which outlet is used more in Germany? Im trying to research which power adaptor I need to buy and both of these are mentioned but doesn’t say which is more common, and i cant seem to find one adaptor that has both options.

I think type F outlet is more common, but the plug above also perfectly fits.
Some appliances (double-insulated so they don’t need “protective earth”, but more than 2.5A so they can’t use an “Euro” plug) use “type C” *plugs*.
But in the 37 years that I’ve lived in Germany, I’ve never seen a single “type C” *outlet* in this country.
The second outlet is normally used. You’ll find the plug above also very often for device that don’t require a Protective Earth connection, but outlets using that are very rare and basically only used in adapters.
