School uniform is such a scam. I’m lucky I went to a school with a fairly plain uniform theme, so my mum would just buy a pack of cheap shirts and trousers from the supermarket.
Any school that requires logos, ribbons etc on uniform should be legally required to sell them separately so that parents can shop around and buy cheaper clothes rather than get ripped off by those school uniform shops.
