    Exactly why this mislaid and poor policy is creating problems.

    The EU leaders have failed to put solar water heating, solar space heating, and geothermal pumping at the forefront of European energy designs. The problem is the leaders.

  2. Part of why I’m so optimistic on Spain’s future, our current and historic weaknesses will be negated or grow to strengths with future technology.

    Solar and wind will be big if we can actually figure out what we want subsidies and taxes to look like and revamp our grid. Technology expansion on storage and automation in general should further.

  3. Is installing these things on german roofs the best way though? Can’t we collectively chip in to make create huge farms in Spain and southern Italy or something? Southern Europe still use coal and oil for electricity, and if we can remove that for cheaper, then really the emission lowers for a cheaper buck than try lowering it in Germany.
