A lot of people put off retirement during covid. Hats off but enjoy the lack of stress!
It always infuriates me when idiots say “if you don’t like it leave” when speaking about striking nurses and Doctors.
Every call in, there they are. Then five minutes later they wonder why they can’t get an appointment.
My baby nearly died due to shortages of midwives, 6 years ago, pre-covid. Fuck all has been done in the meanwhile except more babies have died at the same Trust.
Not only are they leaving, people just aren’t applying.
Another thing that dense people with “common sense” can’t see the value of until it’s gone.
The answer is in front of everyone at this point. PAY THEM, US, EVERYONE. MORE.
Yous don’t get to cry about min wage increasing inflation, yous have had 12 YEARS to sort this problem.
Sick to the teeth of the SAME thing EVERY day, we clearly have the money to do so if we just TAXED the rich. Hell maybe if we didn’t allow corporations to skimp tax we’d actually be able to fund stuff instead of taxing the middle and lower class more and more, we don’t have money to spend, wtf is this government expecting all of us to do, you can’t keep upping taxes due to your mismanagement of things, we can’t stimulate the economy because we’re all fucking poor!
Well I see the systematic collapse is going well…. as a cancer patient this freaks me out. A lot. I could never afford private long term healthcare with this.
