  1. The door is open. But it will be sad for the young generation of Hungarians, victim of the stupidity of the elderly.

Anyway. Will not happen. Orban needs the EU cash machine.

  2. Why would they leave? What do they lose if they stay?

20%-30% chance of leaving is way too high

  3. Okay. But if we leave EU, can we also please leave NATO? Then maybe one of the countries surrounding us could conquer Hungary and install a better government.

  4. This would have one good side and one bad side.

Good: the burden is gone, we save money, PiS lost an ally on EU level

Bad: will probably move closer to Russia and might become a 2nd Minirussia in Europe (Serbia 1st), more young Hungarians might leave the country if they can (bad for Hungary)

  5. Bitch when?! You’ve been saying this shit for years…

  6. Not gonna happen, Orban and his cronies need these sweet EU funds. The UK has shown how that move will backfire terribly if you leave the single market and the costume union.

  7. He wont, but i wish he would, Austria to.

Turkey at least you know why they are in NATO.

  8. My knee-jerk reaction is “fucking do it, already”.

But then I remember there’s nearly half a country who does not support what’s going on over there. And Orban is temporary, even if it feels like an eternity. With the EU gone, having a russian stronghold in the heart of Europe is definitely not something anyone should want.

  9. I don’t think it is going to happen… but even if it does, I am conflicted about whether it’s a good or a bad thing.

On the one hand Hungary is currently sabotaging the EU and rejecting its shared values. And with Hungary gone, maybe we can finally begin proper rule of law procedures against Poland (which not as far gone as Hungary in my opinion). On the other hand, I would prefer for Hungary to move in the right direction again and become a true member of the EU once more. And another country leaving, and likely entering the Russian sphere of influence, would not exactly be good for the stability of the Union.

  10. On one hand the is a massive amount of pro EU people in Hungary who would suffer for it, on the other it would be fucking hillarius

  11. How about we do a swap. UK gets to come back and Hungary leaves?

    Pls

  12. I’d feel really bad for the people there who are against leaving, so I’m not sure. Orban is temporary after all and I wish him a pleasant self-combustion or partial body implosion soon enough.

And maybe only then will Meloni follow in his steps and explode too, leaving no traces behind.

  13. Hungary a landlocked country wants to leave the EU a organisation that promotes freedom of movement of goods throughout irs internal borders. Hilarious!!

  14. are whole corntree (britian) support’s you!!! We are the brightest and best and can prosper Together x

  15. Good. They’re leaching off the EU anyways…taking so many manufacturing jobs and EU funds as an autocracy.
