When I went, it cost about $10 to take the ferry. Now it would cost 2.66, but not sure if the price went up
I remember going to bulgaria with my fam because it used to be so cheap now they’re coming to us,how the turntables
Nothing new this has been happening for years.
bahaha
So some Turkish exports were indeed boosted
Well well well, how the turntables
We’ve had two hyperinflations afterthe fall of socialism, for once we’re watching the seir instead of being the seir.
Turkey has always been a great place to go shopping for Bulgarians. Edirne has always had an absolutely gigantic weekend market where you can literally find anything for good prices.
> Hatice Ahmedova said she left at 3 a.m. to get on a bus that would take her over the border to Edirne, exchanged 200 Bulgarian Levs to get 1,150 Turkish liras and began shopping.
So she woke up at 3 am to do 100 euro worth of shopping? Really?
2 years ago a friend bought a fucking house. Brick by brick, mortar, roof etc. Furniture, kitchen and everything for the interior.
He brought handymans from Turkey to build the house. This was before Covid and he said he paid between 30-50% less compared to getting this from Bulgaria.
