  1. >The NatWest board said it had full confidence in Dame Rose

    Famous last words

  2. This can’t be right. I was assured by soooo many people on this sub that the bank was absolutely blameless in this whole saga and had nothing to apologise for. Don’t tell me those people were………wrong again. I’m shocked.

  3. This sub is such an echo chamber, I bet all those people who were berating him initially won’t ever comment on this or will downplay this new development. Such a typical Reddit moment.

Edit: they’ll just downvote these comments instead 😂😂😂

  4. Like it or not. Nigel is a very impressive guy. He is probably the only person iin Britain who can keep doing the impossible. Going against all odds. Between a moving car and a Farage, I think the car would end up in the scrapyard…

  5. People saw Nigel Farage and immediately thought he was wrong. Absolutely hilarious how many people jumped to conclusions so fast

  6. Wow. It shows how Farage was correct.

If he never got the SAR many would have dismissed him.

Her position is untenable. She needs to resign and stay on till they find suitable CEO.

The fact she admitted it must mean SAR Farage submitted to NatWest confirms she was source.

  7. Someone said here yesterday the source was a random higher up manager turns out it was the CEO herself what?

  8. Why is the boss of NatWest even having dinner with a journalist in the first place?

Her job is to run the bank on behalf of the UK taxpayer – not court the media. She’s constantly doing interviews on Bloomberg too…why?

  9. All very interesting words.. but they’re not reinstating his account are they.

  10. Jesus fucking christ this story has come up in my feed 15 fucking times these week and every time its the exact same fart sniffing comments. “huyuhh where are those people who thought farage was wrong *sniiffffffffff*. Bet they feel stupid now *huffffff* what feeble minds they have! I was right all along *sniiifffffffff*”

  11. So this is about the disclosure of his financial information not necessarily the closure of the account.

That said, the information should **never** have been disclosed no matter your opinions on the person.

  12. Natwest have had more press scrutiny for this Farage account issue than they did when they bankrupted the country during the GFC.
