  1. Former NAZI death camp.

Although I agree that we have to remember so we won’t repeat the mistakes from our ancestors, I am sick and tired of constantly putting Germans in a bad light.

There is a new generation Germans that has nothing to do with the NAZIS, rather the opposite, they work hard with the rest of Europe for a better and peaceful Europe.

  2. Can you still define it German if it was mostly run by Nazi sympathisers or “Hilfswilligen” as Germans called them.

  3. Bełżec. Very sad museum. Hit me harder than Auschwitz. Auschwitz-Birkenau (Oświęcim – Brzezinka) are actually 2 separte camps. Auschwitz is more “human” – maybe because brick buidlings from outside are not that scary. In Birkenau u just got wooden barracks and lines and lines of them – you can clearly see scale of holocaust

  4. It was an extermination camp for 500 000 Jews from all over Europe. I can see that many cannot accept the truth, but must come to terms with it. If the earth could speak, we would still hear its unbearable complaints about the cruelty it suffered. I have a request, please stop being appalled. Accept what you see here with humility.

  5. Kind of off topic but wtf is wrong with reddit video player? The videos always start out fine but 2 seconds later the quality drops to garbage level and there is nothing I can do about it even if I put it on the highest quality from playback settings on the bottom right. Before anyone else says it, no it’s not my internet. Reddit is literally the only place where this happens.
