Hey guys,
Currently staying in Limassol, this is our second night. No matter where we go, it seems to be very quiet (we’re in the old town but have walked around a lot). Am I missing the main areas to go out? Are they outside the old town?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Too expensive.
This is normal newfriend. Not every restaurant will be packed on Tuesday night. Go to Nicosia or protaras on a weekend and it will be different
It was much busier last year. The British tourists are mostly gone, since they don’t really have the money to spend, so they just stay in their inexpensive all-inclusives, and there are not enough Israelis on the weekdays. Thursday, Friday or Saturday would be pretty busy though.
It’s still hard to get a table at any good restaurant frequented by the Russians that live here though.
People eat and go out late. It’s not evening for them, yet.
Where in Limassol is this?
Its a tuesday, you were at saripolou, which is not very well known for its restaurants. Mostly a bar place, and people go out after 10. Maybe try molos, palio limani, marina and kastro. It wont be packed anywhere on a tuesday though.
Yes Limassol is kinda dead lately. I feel like things changed from carnival onwards. Not sure what though.
Most people don’t go out that much on weekdays here especially at saripolou. If you want to find people there try going Friday or Saturday night(10 PM and after) but it’s probably true that lately it’s not like it used to be there.
Although if you are trying to find lots of people and nightlife AyiaNapa is your best bet this time of the year.
Yeah its hella expensive nowadays. Most locals dont bother.
Plus its a tuesday. Youll see more people on weekends for sure.
