1. Until Labor win the election and it falls by the wayside

2. First Past the Post is beneficial for Labour and the Conservatives. If we adopted a form of proportional representation it would only split the voter base and allow smaller parties to get a foot in the door.

   I would be surprised if we see any serious calls for FPTP from party leadership from any major party any time soon, it simply would not be in their interest to do so.
