  1. A man whose thoughts would end up with tens of millions dead.

Wonder what he’d think if he saw how it panned out.

  2. People talk about going back in time to kill Hitler or Stalin, but if you killed Marx, you wouldn’t need to kill either of them.

  3. A lot of stupid comments here. From kids who do not know a first thing about Karl Heinrich Marx, a German philosopher, critic of political economy, economist, historian, sociologist, political theorist, journalist, and socialist revolutionary

  4. The huge cross on Jenny’s neck is a Polish cross from the January Uprising, beared by her as a symbol of mourning and support for Polish cause. Marx was a big supporter of Polish independence and friend to many Polish democrats

  5. Karl Marx personal hell is modern day pink hair Marxist trying to explain what he really meant with post on Reddit and YouTubers.

  6. Just the usual reminder, that Marx’ ideas killed 100 million people and people live better in capitalist societies than in socialist ones.

  7. Me: “I’m not going to read the comments. The lack of nuance discussing Marx on /r/europe would be maddening”

    ****Reads comments anyway****

Me: “Ouch! Right in my sanity!”

  8. He was a smart man, I like his writings, Its nice seeing where his writings have had a positive influence on history.

  9. Marx and the whole socialist movement made Europe the land of labour rights that it is today. He probably influenced also overseas and the whole world with his denounce of workers rights and conditions at his time.

I’m just glad of all the work rights we have today.

  10. People remember Jenny but not everyone remembers Karl’s other daughter: Onya, most famous for the invention of the starting pistol
