HSE child mental healthcare: Inspector ‘cannot assure parents that services are safe and effective’

1. “Some parents said that they were told that if they did not consent to their child taking ADHD medication that they would be discharged without further input.”

   This is cruel and wrong. Alternatives to medication should be explored and then to discharge them from the service is horrible.
