>“Scotland is seen as secondary, an afterthought by Westminster.
Scottish separatists love to talk about Westminster like it’s some London-centric body that has nothing to do with them, and not in fact housing a Parliament containing more Scottish MPs per capita than English MPs.
Scotland isn’t any more an afterthought than any other region of the UK and in Parliament it’s probably actually one of the loudest.
Of course it isn’t. We’re a union of equal people, not equal nations. We’re not the fucking United States.
Should have asked him why Scotland would want to stay a part of an unequal union as a follow-up question.
Guess labour don’t want the Scottish voters on side then
For a long time Labour treated Scottish votes as a given, they neglected those constituents then lost them entirely to the SNP. They’ll never get those seats back, if they keep abandoning supporters, they’ll never get back in Number 10 either.
Labour seems so entitled and snooty. Like be being the default other choice they have inherent value. But if you only win by default, you’re not going to keep power for very long and you’re certainly not going to achieve anything.
Lets face it, if you’re not rich and in London you’re an afterthought.
There are a lot of anti labour posts lately guys. It’s almost as if they were looking like winning a GE so the smear bots have hit Reddit in force.
It can be, just have Wales, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland together with the 9 regions in England.
This guy makes it sound as if all of England has a say in what Westminster decided.
