Tesla Model 3 becomes Europe’s best-selling electric car in November

  1. Interesting. In the NL Tesla dropped out of the top 10 most sold EV cars in October. The German manufacturers now offer quite decent alternatives.

  2. It’s been a best selling electric car for a while now, so the title is misleading.

Overall VW group controlles about a 1/4 of the EV market, while tesla has a market share of about 1/10 in Europe.

    Volkswagen Group – 25% share (Volkswagen brand – 10%)

    Stellantis – 13% share

    Daimler – 10% share (Mercedes-Benz brand at 9%)

BMW Group – 10% share (BMW brand at 9%)

    Hyundai Motor Group – 9%

  3. Why do people get so emotional about Teslas?

If Tesla didn’t exist I’m pretty sure the German car industry would still try and claim that EVs were unfeasible and clean diesel was the way forward.
