Her 17-year-old son escaped from suicide watch at a hospital and went through with it 18 months ago.
In her last Tweet, she posted a photo of her son Shane and said, ‘Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul.’
‘We were one soul in two halves. He was the only person who ever loved me unconditionally.
‘I am lost in the bardo without him.’

Really fucking sad, she was one of the greats.

May she and her son rest in peace. Rough lives. Like we say in Finland: Kevyet mullat.” Which roughly tranlates into “May the earth/soil (underneath you are buried) be light”.
Sad news, but I have to admit when I saw the headlines I learned that she was in fact, still alive until today. I mandela’d myself into remembering she died years ago, and some of my friends did too apparently.
