I am glad they are replacing the shield with the Trident symbol version. I am also glad they didn’t tear the actual statue down, Ukraine instead took it and made it their own. Out of all the old Soviet monuments’ i always thought this one was a work of art. It really shines when the Ukrainian flag is shown on her with that light show.

Sad that there isn’t more the vibe of the destruction of the swastika at the nuremberg stadium. That would have been a fitting end for this emblem and everything it represents
Finally, it should be banned in Europe
Like we don’t have any other problems, rather than almost non-visible element of shield.
