I wonder what type of comments will be here. The ones on the news website kinda don’t fit this sub.))
Transnistria is missing.
Good. There is no need or benefit in staying when things hit the fan.
First the Russians, now the British. Everyone is fleeing Ukraine.
>*”Since 2015 the UK force has given more than 21,000 Ukrainian personnel medical, planning, logistics and infantry training.
In 2019 the operation was extended to 2023, and broadened to include the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. They have been preparing Ukraine’s navy to face threats in the Sea of Azov.”*
>*”The decision to evacuate will be made by Chief of Joint Operations Lt Gen Charlie Strickland. “He will be looking carefully to gauge the effect of any incursion on the ability to get his troops out – he cannot allow them to be trapped there””*
Funny how some people argued for a small trip wire force that would deter the Russians by their mere presence.
If hostilities kick off, it takes a conscious decision to take part in them, and foreign troops can simply drive out
Anyway, thank them for the help in training our troops, if we survive we’ll never forget your help 👍
