I know of a migration of Paphites due to job openings at Morphou (miners) that caused a moderate dialect shift in the town and surrounding villages in the 30s-40s.
Kind of a long shot, but do we have maps that show the migration of Cypriots and the influence of their version of Cypriot dialect on the people living where they settled?
As soon as I finish learning Greek, I start learning Cypriot, and then I’ll learn #15.
