Two more teens arrested in connection with assault on US tourist Stephen Termini in Dublin

1. Amazing how swiftly the wheels of justice can move when a politician and a commisioner want to look good.

   Let’s hope there’s some kind of conviction arising from all these arrests. In fact, let’s hope the right people are being arrested.

2. Normally they will be put forward for the youth diversion program and given a formal caution. It takes an awful lot for it to escalate beyond that, especially with their age, but it will probably happen in this case due to the publicity.

   The diversion program is used even for serious crimes such as sexual assaults, leaving the perpetrator with a clean record and giving them opportunity to commit even more crimes before they are given a custodial sentence

4. Don’t want to be that person but where were the arrests when the Asians and Indians were attacked!? Those attacks hardly made the news.

5. These Little fuckers, and all the other little fuckers out there need to know that they’re not immune from punishment.

   We need to be harshly punishing both them & their legal guardians.

   The idea behind lenient punishment for under 18’s is that they may not know better, may be easily led & they shouldn’t necessarily pay their entire lives for a mistake made while they were young.

   On the other hand, these little scrotes beat somebody into hospital. And the attack was bad enough that this lad might lose an eye.

   At 14 you you should fucking know that there would be consequences from actions like that.

6. Okay we are up to three persons apprehended now.

   What percentage of the underage arrests this year is that?

7. Would you look at this, arrests being made left and right as soon as it’s a US tourist. It’s almost as if they can do their jobs when they want to.

   When are they gonna actually punish these scrotes who contribute nothing to the society
