I commend her for writing this, but Piers’ problem with Markle, as well as many women (he’s come for many in the past) is rooted in misogyny. It’s letting him off the hook by reducing it to him not being able to have these women.
In Markle’s case, it is not because he’s attracted to her, but because she rejected him (in a non sexual way). I normally don’t bandy about phrases, but he’s a raging narcissist, and narcissist’s have a pathological fear of rejection. He has an insane sense of entitlement and couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that she didn’t want to hang out anymore.
His co-presenter, Alex Beresford, exposed him on Good Morning Britain, when he got to the crux of the issue and said to Piers that he knows he’s angry that Meghan rejected his last meet up for drinks, but this is her prerogative to do, and he needs to accept this. That’s when Piers stormed off the set. Somebody exposed what was really driving his hate campaign and vendetta.
Royals are advised not to have any contact with the media anyway. Once she got involved with Harry, she couldn’t associate with journalists, even if she wanted to. He set out to destroy her life, all because his ego was bruised because she wasn’t associating with him anymore. He’s despicable.
